The cancellation process has been expanded and stabilized. When canceling with a cancellation fee, a distinction is now made correctly between invoices that have already been paid and those that are still outstanding: If an invoice is not yet paid, the original invoice is canceled and a new invoice is automatically created only for the cancellation fee due. If the invoice has already been paid, only the amount that remains outstanding after the cancellation fee has been deducted will be refunded. For online payments such as Stripe or PayPal, this refund is automatic; For invoice payments, a ToDo note is created instead so that the remaining amount can be refunded manually. At the same time, the retained credit will be correctly used to pay the cancellation fee. In addition, notes can now be attached directly to invoices and displayed in the invoice view. The cancellation dialog has been standardized so that cancellation from the relevant views works reliably using the same process.

Duplicate detection for participant registrations has been improved. When comparing, email addresses as well as first and last names are now recognized regardless of upper/lower case and different umlaut representations. E-mail addresses are stored in lower case both in administration and in the booking process, while names retain their original spelling. This means that existing contacts are recognized more reliably and unnecessary duplicate participants are avoided.
