Release overview

All innovations compact at a glance

Short explanation, direct benefit and, if available, the link directly to the instructions.

  • Subscription Manager for memberships and multi-visit passes

    New feature

Whether it is a club membership, a gym subscription, a VIP programme or a ten-visit pass, the Subscription Manager lets you create plans to suit your offering. You decide whether they cover a fixed period, a term from the start date or a specific number of uses.

You can enter names and descriptions in several languages. Then choose whether a plan is available to your team for individual assignment or published so that customers can buy it themselves.

  • Sell memberships with or without a course booking

    New feature

A membership can be purchased on its own or together with a course in a single shopping cart. New members can book their first workshop straight away, while existing customers can start by buying just a pass. Memberships and course items appear together in the billing; the applicable benefits are taken into account when booking.

Member benefits, add-ons and fees are each calculated according to their applicable rules.

  • Create tailored member benefits

    New feature
Set a percentage or fixed-amount discount and choose whether it applies to all offers, selected categories or individual courses. Benefits are assigned to each eligible person, keeping member discounts transparent even in group bookings. Additional services and fees are handled separately.
  • Exclusive prices for members

    New feature

Define which price categories can only be booked with a valid membership, such as club rates, VIP prices or special terms for gym members. Eligibility is checked when making a selection. If needed, a suitable membership can be added directly during the booking process.

In booking management, you can see which membership was used. This also applies when it grants access to a price category without providing a discount.

  • Manage memberships directly in the CRM

    New feature
The customer profile shows assigned plans, terms, remaining uses and payment status. Your team can assign memberships, adjust validity periods or uses, and open invoices and payment links. Membership and status filters help you find the right contacts quickly. A plan overview with key figures shows you how your membership offering is developing.
  • A dedicated area for your members

    New feature
Signed-in customers can find their subscriptions and passes under My Memberships, with their status, validity and remaining uses. Depending on your settings, they can open invoices, make payments and cancel at the end of the term. This makes self-service easier and reduces recurring requests to your team.
  • Plan membership periods and renewals

    New feature
For time-based memberships, you can prepare the next term with an invoice, payment request and reminders. It starts on the scheduled date, provided payment has been received. Even if a membership is cancelled at the end of its term, the period already paid for remains fully usable. Multi-visit passes, on the other hand, depend on the available number of uses; automatic renewal is not provided.
  • Use passes with transferable codes

    New feature
For multi-visit passes configured accordingly, a membership code can be redeemed during booking. If desired, buyers receive a separate single-use code for each use, which they can share within a team or give as a gift. Regardless of who redeems the codes, the pass keeps track of how many uses have been consumed and how many remain. If a booking is cancelled, the associated use becomes available again.
  • A cart with managed place reservations

    New feature
The new cart brings selected participants, dates, price categories and additional services together. Limited places and pass uses are reserved during booking and confirmed when checkout succeeds. Incomplete reservations are released when they expire. This supports a reliable process for simultaneous bookings and multi-part offers.
  • A waiting room for high-demand offers

    New feature
During busy booking periods, a waiting room admits visitors to the booking process in an orderly way. Depending on your design, it shows their position, estimated waiting time and available places. Messages about sold-out offers and open waiting lists explain the next step. Use the Design Manager to adapt the status display, messages and actions to your brand in multiple languages.
  • New components for your booking pages

    New feature
Use the Design Manager to customize your membership catalog, member area, membership selection and checkout summary. Control the information, colors, navigation and labels shown in each language. Supported designs offer a choice between the classic booking view and a membership flow. You can also tailor the final checkout button label to the booking process.
  • Discover extensions in the plugin manager

    New feature
The Plugin Manager brings available extensions together with their features, terms and current status. Authorized administrators can activate plugins, start available trials and manage cancellations. These include Memberships & Passes, as well as activation of multi-part offers, additional questions and additional services. The terms for your account are shown before activation.
  • Apply customer credit at checkout

    New feature
You can choose to apply existing customer credit automatically at checkout. The amount is reserved during booking and allocated on completion. Customers see the remaining amount to pay, while your team can trace the credit used through the associated booking.
  • Choose how unused voucher balances are retained

    New feature
For eligible promo codes with a fixed value, choose what happens to any unused balance: credit it to the customer, issue a new promo code with the same validity, or keep the existing expiry rule. This gives you more flexibility when designing gift vouchers and encouraging repeat bookings.
  • Tailor form fields to group bookings

    New feature
In supported booking designs, additional fields can be shown only for the contact person, for both the contact person and other participants, or exclusively for other participants. This lets you request information where it is needed. Essential identity fields remain available to identify each person correctly.
  • Use the first participant as the contact person

    New feature
A new mode is available for group bookings with named participants: the first participant also serves as the contact person. This simplifies registration for someone attending alongside other people, such as a workshop organizer, team member or parent booking a family activity.
  • Export transaction fees monthly

    New feature
Account owners can download edoobox transaction fees for a selected month as a CSV file. The export includes the transaction number, payment system, date and amount, bringing fees for supported payments together for your bookkeeping and monthly reconciliation.
  • Evaluate booking success with Analytics V2

    New feature
The optional Analytics V2 integration connects steps in the booking journey with server-side purchase, payment and reversal events. Google Analytics 4 can receive events directly or through your own server-side tag manager. Each account has its own configuration, and transmission respects the required consent.
  • New integrations for Microsoft Advertising and OpenAI Ads

    New feature
The new server-side integration can also send booking events to Microsoft Advertising and OpenAI Ads. Each provider can be configured and enabled separately, helping you evaluate campaigns against actual booking events. Transmission requires the relevant provider setup and the necessary visitor consent.
  • Analytics setup for embedded bookings

    New feature

Use a dedicated Google Tag Manager export to set up Analytics V2 for your booking pages. For embedded bookings, you can include your website context as needed. This lets you analyse the journey from viewing an offer through selection to completing a booking in the context of your website.

You activate the new connection during setup and can continue to configure existing integrations independently.

  • A direct booking link alongside your website embed

    New feature
The generated embed code now includes a direct link to the booking page alongside the iFrame, giving visitors another way to book. The share code also uses the updated, compact version of the edoobox embedding script.
  • A smoother, more reliable everyday experience

    Update

Numerous refinements make day-to-day work in edoobox easier. Booking and payment processes work together more smoothly, making invoices and refunds easier to track consistently. Improved sign-in on embedded booking pages is complemented by optimised mobile views, making the booking process more convenient.

Work also flows more smoothly in the Design Manager, while clearer guidance and updated translations make it easier to find your way.
