Design Manager: design certificate validation
Using the designated certificate link, recipients can open a certificate online or view its information. The Certificate validation template in the Design Manager controls this page’s appearance. Certificate delivery and issuance requirements are configured separately under Attendance, attendance confirmation and certificates.
Design the validation page
- Open the appropriate design in the Design Manager and select Certificate validation in the body.
- Place Certificate PDF for the embedded view and the download option.
- Add Certificate information so that the associated details appear legibly.
- Add LinkedIn certifications if necessary.
- Use appropriate offer or text widgets for a brief context and save the widget and layout.
Understand the certificate widgets

The template displays this page. It does not create a new participation or replace the requirements for issuing a certificate. In your own text, use the term validation so that the scope and meaning of your specific certificate remain clear.
Check the result at the intended link
Create or send a suitable test certificate via the intended process. Open its validation link and check person, offer, certificate content, PDF display, and download. Check the LinkedIn-action if it is used, as well as the handling of an invalid link.
Publish only the personal data required for this evidence. Check the mobile view and every offered language. General registration buttons and personal data unrelated to the evidence are usually not helpful on this page.
Distinguish display and external action
Use the link generated from the certificate process for checking. A manually assembled general design link does not contain the specific certificate context. If a PDF is missing, check the certificate issuance and the intended download first before changing the layout.
The LinkedIn button passes the certificate name and current validation link to the external profile action. Check in the external service, using the intended account, whether the entry is fully imported. The Design Manager confirms neither external accreditation nor successful saving to LinkedIn.
