Export transaction fees as CSV

Under Settings → Payment systems, authorised superadmins can download edoobox transaction fees. The CSV supports reconciliation with your accounting. It is a fee list, not a complete overview of all payment, payout or refund movements.

Prerequisites

The action appears for account managers with the required superadmin permission. The export considers supported posted payments through Stripe and PayPal. For Stripe, fee retrieval requires a valid connection to the corresponding Stripe account.

Select a month and download

  1. Open Settings → Payment systems.
  2. Below the payment methods, click Download transaction fees.
  3. Select the desired month. If available, edoobox suggests the previous month; otherwise, an available month.
  4. Click CSV export and wait until preparation finishes.
  5. Open the file in your spreadsheet or accounting software and check month, currency and transaction numbers.

An ongoing download cannot be started again in parallel in the dialogue. If an error appears, check connection and period before exporting again.

Understand columns and monthly allocation

ColumnContent
Transaction numberThe edoobox transaction number; if none exists, a public payment identifier.
SystemStripe or PayPal.
DateThe payment’s edoobox posting date.
AmountThe positive exportable fee amount including currency.

The file uses UTF-8 and a semicolon delimiter. Rows are sorted by payment date. With SEPA, the edoobox posting date may precede final bank processing, especially when early posting at processing is enabled.

What the file covers

  • PayPal: the edoobox fee stored against the payment.
  • Stripe: the partner/application fee relevant to edoobox, if it can be determined at Stripe.
  • Only positive exportable fees; an empty month may therefore yield a file containing only a header.

Do not expect a list of all Stripe/PayPal processing fees, a general Worldline fee list or negative refund items. Compare these movements separately with the provider statement and original transactions.

Clarify errors and discrepancies

If download fails, first check superadmin permission and Stripe connection. The export creates the file only once all required fees have been read successfully; a provider error should not deliver an incomplete fee list as a successful download.

For a discrepancy, compare transaction number, provider reference, edoobox posting date, currency and export month. Provider payout and an associated refund may concern a different period.

Example: Month-end closing

Accounting downloads the previous month’s CSV and matches its Stripe and PayPal fees to original payments. Refunds and general processing fees are additionally checked in the provider report. The CSV is filed with the documented month-end closing.
