Embed an iFrame in a Wix website
In Wix, you can display edoobox using an embedded HTML element. Visitors remain on your website and can book the displayed offers directly.
Prepare the Wix page
Open your website in the Wix Editor.
Create a new page or open the page where offers should appear.
In the Wix Editor, select Add elements → Embed code → Embed HTML. Depending on the language, the section may be called “Popular embeds”.
Copy the iFrame code in edoobox
In edoobox, open the root directory, category or individual offer. Use Preview / Share and Embed to copy the appropriate iFrame code.
Deliberately choose what should be displayed: the entire account, a single category or an individual offer.
Insert the code in Wix
In the Wix element, open the HTML code setting and insert the copied iFrame code. Then resize, move and adapt the element to your page.

In the classic Wix Editor, open the HTML input, insert the complete embed code and apply it. Wix Studio and other editor views may look different.
- H
- Open the element's HTML code input
- I
- Insert the complete edoobox embed code
- J
- Apply the input to the element
Publish the page only after checking its display on desktop and smartphone.
Configure links and embedding deliberately
Always copy the link or iFrame code generated by Preview / Share. An address from the browser bar may contain a temporary state and is not intended as a permanent embed link. For an individual offer, you can choose the standard view or direct registration form; categories and the root directory focus on the overview.
In the Share dialog, you can further tailor the generated code to its purpose:
- Label: Identifies a booking's source, for example
wix-kurse. Use distinct labels for multiple integrations. - Language: Starts automatically or in a selected active booking language.
- Tags: Opens the embedded view with a suitable offer selection already applied.
- Promotion: Passes a selected promotion code directly through the link. Share such links only with the intended audience.
- Scroll-to-top: Returns the surrounding page to the start of the embedded view when changing steps.
If the Share dialog shows no correct link to your website, first save the base URL of the page containing the iFrame under Settings > Offers.
Check the display and entire booking journey
Insert the complete generated code in an HTML or embed element. It contains the iFrame and the edoobox script for embedded display. If only the inner link is copied or Wix removes script components, height and navigation may behave differently from the preview.
After every change, check desktop and smartphone displays and the complete workflow: open the offer, complete the form, accept the terms, open the payment page and display the completion page. Also check that the language, tag filters, promotion and label are applied as intended.
Example: bookable workshops on a Wix page
A creative school runs its website with Wix. It creates a Workshops page, copies the iFrame code for the appropriate category in edoobox and inserts it in Wix. New workshop dates then appear directly on the website as soon as they are published in edoobox.
Example: multilingual campaign page in Wix
An organisation creates a separate Wix page for a spring campaign. In the Share dialog, it selects French, the Outdoor tag, a time-limited promotion code and the fruehling-wix label. After insertion, it tests a complete booking on smartphone and desktop and checks in edoobox that the source can be clearly identified.
Check tracking with nested Wix frames
A Wix HTML element is itself an iFrame. The edoobox code inserted within it may therefore sit in another frame. However, the general V2 helper guide requires access to the actual edoobox iFrame and its immediate parent page. Registering only the visible Wix element does not confirm this data flow.
Before tracking goes live, check which page can actually be controlled and run the helpers and consent callback. If the required integration is not possible in the Wix editor used, use a direct booking link and test its consent/tracking behaviour separately. The booking display may still work.

Wix frames and mobile height
Wix itself loads HTML embeds in a frame. Therefore check the Wix element's size in desktop and mobile views as well as the edoobox content; automatic adjustment of the outer Wix area is not guaranteed. Use HTTPS addresses only. The official Wix guide to HTML and website embeds explains the element, code field and size settings.
Direct link and Tracking V2
The current edoobox code adds a direct link to the booking portal as a fallback if the embedded view is not displayed. Include this link with the generated code and check it on the published website.
For Tracking V2, your website also needs the connection between the iFrame, website context and consent. A fully visible booking form does not confirm successful tracking setup.
