Send manual emails to profiles and offers
Use Compose email to write an individual message to existing participant profiles, admins or appropriate participants in selected offers. The dialog uses the configured organisation sending method.
Check prerequisites
You need access to the relevant profiles or offers and the email action. First check valid email addresses and the active sending method under Settings → Email → Server. Changing that method requires the corresponding global settings permission.
Compose and send a message
- Open the participant or admin profile or appropriate offer context and select Compose email.
- Check the preselected recipients. Search for further people or offers in Recipients and choose matching entries.
- Check the displayed sender. This selection is locked here and comes from the sending configuration.
- Enter a clear subject and message text.
- Select Send and wait for feedback. If faulty profiles are reported, check their email addresses.
- Open the outbox and check recipients, time and the actual generated content.
Profiles, offers and duplicate addresses
Recipient selection uses existing resources. An arbitrary free email address is not a separate recipient type in this V2 dialog. For an external service provider, use an intended process such as a location notification.
Select at most 50 resources as recipients. A selected offer may resolve to multiple participants not on the waiting list; the number of selected entries is therefore not always the number of generated messages. Identical email addresses are combined within this mailing. People sharing a mailbox do not automatically receive separate messages each.
Use the appropriate data context
A participant profile provides available personal fields, such as ##UserFirstname## and ##UserLastname##. An admin profile is not a participant and does not automatically provide the same participant values. Selecting an offer may add offer data.
An ordinary profile message has no specific booking or invoice assignment. For booking numbers, outstanding invoices or personal payment links, use the respective specialist workflow. Check placeholders with an internal demonstration person before selecting multiple recipients.
Interpret feedback correctly
Positive feedback confirms processing within the edoobox sending workflow. Subsequent delivery still depends on the provider and recipient mailbox. Missing or invalid addresses are reported as affected profiles. Correct them specifically and resend only necessary messages.
The standard edoobox sending method may reach a sending limit. Check the displayed notice and email settings. A new message to the same selection fixes neither a limit nor an incorrect profile address.
